Legislative Changes

Reduce advertising appropriation and increase marketing efficiency. $(5,500,000)   ST/SRO

The Lottery's advertising budget has grown considerably over the past ten years. The State is currently saturated with Lottery advertisements through multiple media sources and the inflationary projections for printing and advertising are above average.

Eliminate additional 26 Retailer Sales Management positions. $(1,075,000)   ST/SRO

The Executive has not adequately demonstrated the need for a 25 percent increase in positions and cannot fully document how the increase will benefit the Division of the Lottery.

Eliminate the Youth Entrepreneurship Program. $(500,000)   ST/SRO

The Executive has not requested the authorization to implement this program.
