Statement from Speaker Silver Regarding
World Trade Center Arbitration Ruling

Today, the arbitrator issued a ruling that sends the parties back to the negotiating table. It is time for them to come together and reach a resolution that, once and for all, ensures a fully redeveloped World Trade Center site. What is at stake is nothing less than returning Lower Manhattan to its position as the third largest central business district in the nation and building a more vibrant, 24/7, mixed-use community - complete with amenities like a performing arts center and a new Fulton Street Transit Center - that is better and brighter than ever before.
