Tedisco Makes Sunshine Budget Negotiation Pledge
Promises to meet publicly on budget with any leader who asks, urges others to do same

Assembly Minority Leader James Tedisco (R,C,I-Schenectady, Saratoga) today pledged to meet publicly to negotiate the 2007-08 State Budget with Gov. Spitzer, Lt. Gov. Paterson or any of the other legislative leaders who ask, at "any place, any time" during the next 10 days.

"After 20 years of late budgets we managed to get two straight done on time. There is no reason that we can't get a third one done on time. We have 10 days to go and I'm ready, willing and able to make myself available to attend any negotiation with any leader who asks. I urge all the leaders to do the same. Bring your numbers, bring your facts, leave the posturing behind, and let's get at it," said Tedisco.
